In the second seminar, Andras Bako, a financial software developer who works for Bloomberg, will discuss Quantum Computing Simulations in Finance: Quantum Computing has enormous disruptive potential to the financial industry. This talk will give an overview of Quantum Computing use-cases in finance, focusing on quantum simulation for financial pricing methods. The talk will be a combination literature review and hands-on examples of Quantum Computation, but focusing on the intuition behind financial quantum applications and exploring the mindset of how to go from textbook quantum algorithms to actual financial algorithms.
